Eye Care - Patanol

Allergies affect people of all ages, though they are patanol common in children and young adults. Before using olopatadine hydrochloride, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or if you have any other allergies. 2 solution: Instill one drop in each affected eye once a day.

Important information Before using Patanol, tell your doctor if you have any type of infection in your eye. Unlike conditions such as pink eye, patanol conjunctivitis is not contagious. Stop using Patanol and call your doctor at once if you have severe redness, swelling, burning, stinging, drainage, crusting, or other irritation when using the eye drops. Before using olopatadine hydrochloride, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or if you have any other allergies.

Keep the patanol tightly closed when not in use. The preservative in this product may be absorbed by contact lenses.



So I went to the ER on Sunday, 26th July 2015 and saw an eye specialist. I really don't know what to do. My eye wasn't getting any better.

How to store Patanol

My right eye has been almost swollen shut, sore and eliciting clear discharge for almost five days. She thought that I had an allergic reaction to the Chlorsig, so she prescribed me Patanol and Kelfor and told me that if my eye gets worse, or it doesn't look like it's getting better, to go to the ER. Wondering about others with this issue and what can help? i have allergic conjunctivitis and using Pataday eye drops. I hope I can use it more than twice a day. It will go away on it's own in 2 weeks or so. please add answer as a comment.


He prescribed me Chlorsig. I feel like they're only going to send me home. Use artificial tears, I like the gel kind like systane. said tobradex was to help patanol's effects but that the latter was the one that mattered the most for the allergy). At around 7 in the afternoon the blurry vision and rainbow halos got somewhat worse. He told me to keep taking my prescribed eye drops and antibiotics and to come back to the eye clinic on Monday, 3rd August 2015 for a review.

This sounds like a migraine to me.


Instead it treats the symptoms, caused by histamine release, including itching, watery eyes, redness and burning. It did not specify what would happen if you do use it more than twice a day. and the contents could easily have been contaminated. Make sure you rule that out.
