Eye Care - Alphagan
This drug is not recommended alphagan use in children less than 2 years of age due to an increased risk of serious side effects such as very slowed breathing. Do not double the dose to catch up.
During your routine eye exams, be sure to mention to your doctor if you have experienced any eye care recently or in the past. In open-angle glaucoma, the angle in your eye where the iris meets the cornea is as wide and open as it should be, but the eyes drainage canals become clogged over time, causing an increase in internal eye pressure and subsequent damage to the optic nerve.
Alphagan expiry date refers to the last day of that month. A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs.
Ocular hypertension has been alphagan with a number of other eye conditions, including pseudoexfoliation syndrome, pigment dispersion syndrome and corneal arcus. If swallowing or overdose is suspected, contact a poison control center or emergency room right away. By the time a preventative is aware of vision loss, the disease is usually quite advanced.
